Zuni Land

Stayed in Ramah, NM with Jeff and Deena Larson and their three children: Joseph, Aurora, and Benjamin. Jeff is a second cousin, his father, Dale is my first cousin. Dale's father is my uncle Henry from Ferron, UT.

Kaye Lambson- a friend from Deming. He's a Marine Veteran from the Korea War. He is now living in Ramah, NM.

Kaye showed me a picture that was taken with Col. Tim Timmons that was taken in Deming, NM. Tim was our Bishop in the LDS Ward when we first moved to Deming, NM.

Everyone that saw the tire on my bike was amazed because it was the first time they had seen a motorcycle carry a spare tire. I was just trying to get to Normal, IL before putting a new rear tire on the bike.

Abstract Zuni jewelry design. It represents two hummingbirds. I a have a ring, belt buckle and watch band with the same design.

Mule Creek

Stopped by Mule Creek, NM to see Penny and Jim Vargas. Penny is the daughter of old friends from San Manuel, AZ, Sharon and Daryl Bingham. They weren't there, so I headed north.

Silver City

Mike Brown, a former boss from Morenci, AZ. Now operating an automotive repair shop in Silver City, NM. We could write a book about our experiences.

Back to the home front in New Mexico

Getting ready to leave Deming. Alex Blackman our landscape person stopped by.

Special guest

We had a special guest stay with us at the inn just before I departed on my trip out west. Cloris Leachman and her son were in town for a gala. The inn where they were going to stay wasn't quite finished with renovations, so we were happy to accommodate them. It was quite the experience.

Cheryl, Chris and Michelle making a special breakfast for Cloris.
